Account & sign-inPlan a trip and save event dates to your calendar
Organize places and events into private named trips.
- Open My account → My trips and name a list, such as Our Destin weekend. Your trips are private to your account; you can create up to 20 trips with 200 items each.
- Choose Add to a trip on a place or event page, then select an existing trip or create one. Favorites still work separately. Open a trip to rename it or remove an item.
- On an event page, choose Add to calendar beside the scheduled date you want. Open or import the downloaded .ics file in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. Each download contains that occurrence only, not the whole recurring schedule.
- Calendar downloads do not update automatically. Check the event page for changes or cancellations before traveling. Unavailable listings stop showing their details in your trip.
Open My trips →EventsPrepare, preview or duplicate a business event
Save a private draft before sharing an event with visitors.
- From your verified business workspace, open a location’s Events section and create an event. Save a draft even if you have not chosen dates yet.
- After saving, add photos and choose a display photo. Screening or review may hold photos; a photo approval alone does not publish the draft event.
- Use Preview to check saved details, dates and photos. Return to the editor to correct anything, save, then publish from the preview. Publication requires a current Premium plan and complete details with future dates; eligible Premium business events have no $45 fee.
- Duplicate event starts a separate private draft with the original text, links, prices and categories. Dates and photos are not copied. Choose a fresh schedule and add photos before previewing and publishing.
Open business workspace →Account & sign-inReset your password or recover sign-in
Use the sign-in recovery option for your account, including Google sign-in.
- Open Sign in and enter the same email address you used to join. If your account uses a password, choose the password recovery option shown on that screen and follow the emailed code or reset instructions.
- Check Spam or Junk and confirm the email address. Use the latest recovery email; a newer request can replace an earlier code. Do not share passwords, sign-in codes or reset links with support.
- If you joined with Google or another sign-in provider, use that same provider. Recover the provider account through its own account-recovery service if needed.
- Once signed in, go to My account → Manage account to update the sign-in options available to you. If you cannot sign in, email the support address below; you do not need access to the support form.
Open sign-in →Account & sign-inChange your name, profile photo or sign out
Find account settings and understand where your public profile appears.
- Open My account → Profile & photo to change your public name and photo. Use Manage account for email, sign-in and security settings.
- Your public name and profile image can appear with your reviews. Names entered entirely in capital letters are formatted for readability.
- Use Sign out in My account when finished on a shared device. Signing out does not delete your reviews, photos or business ownership.
Open My account →Claims & ownershipClaim and manage a business
Request verified access to an existing business listing.
- Find the business on Explore and open its page. Choose Claim this business, then sign in with the account you want to use for business management.
- Provide your name, work email, contact phone, role and enough information for the team to verify your authority. Claiming a listing does not give immediate editing access.
- Open the business dashboard to follow your claim and update a pending request. A decision and next steps appear in your notifications. If declined, read the reason and contact support with additional evidence.
- After approval, use the business workspace for Details, Hours, Photos, Events and Reviews. Claiming, accurate contact details, hours, photos and replies remain free; Premium includes business event publishing and reporting. Business-wide contact fields apply across that business; each location has its own address, hours and listing details. You can manage more than one verified business.
Open business workspace →Business listingsAdd a business that is missing
Suggest a new listing without creating a duplicate or claiming access automatically.
- Search Explore for the business name and location first. A business may already appear under a different spelling or a nearby area.
- If it is missing, use Add my business and provide the business name, address and public contact details. Review possible matches before sending the request.
- The team checks the request before a listing is created. Follow its status in your submitted requests. A listing request does not automatically verify ownership; claim the published business when it becomes available.
Add my business →PhotosUpload, preview and crop a photo
Prepare a clear photo and decide which part will be displayed.
- Choose a still JPEG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC/HEIF photo up to 20 MB that you own or have permission to publish. The uploader automatically resizes and compresses it on your device. Use the preview and crop controls to choose the visible area before submitting.
- HEIC/HEIF photos are converted when supported by the on-device decoder. If a file cannot be read or converted, its error appears separately so you can continue with other valid selections. For an unsupported file, export a JPEG, PNG or WebP copy from your photo app. Videos and animated images are not supported.
- Community uploads appear under Community photos. Only business or administrator listing photos are used in the business display gallery.
- Open My account → Photos to view your upload thumbnail and status. Remove photo asks for confirmation; already removed images cannot be removed again.
View my photos →PhotosA photo is held, rejected or not showing
Understand screening and get help with a photo decision.
- Check the upload result and the photo’s status in My account. Normal community photos publish immediately; automated screening can hold suspicious or unverified content for staff review.
- A photo held for review stays private until a decision. A rejection or removal means it is not public. Read the available reason before uploading another version.
- If you think the decision is wrong, open support from the relevant business or event and describe the photo and approximate upload time. Do not keep resubmitting the same rejected image.
- An image can also disappear when its listing is unpublished or your account is restricted. Support can explain the applicable next step without restoring content that violates the community guidelines.
Read community guidelines →Reviews & repliesWrite, edit or withdraw your review
Correct your existing review directly from the business page or a repeat QR visit.
- Open the business page and choose Share your experience. Sign in to contribute a genuine review of your own experience.
- If you have already reviewed that place, choose Edit your review on its page. Scanning its review QR code again opens the existing review for correction after sign-in.
- Change your rating or review text and save. Normal reviews and corrections publish immediately; suspicious content can be held by screening for staff review.
- You can withdraw your review from My account. A withdrawn review can be corrected and resubmitted. If the site team removed it, contact support before trying again.
Open my contributions →Reviews & repliesReply to a review or request its removal
Business replies publish without routine staff approval; removal requests go to staff.
- In the business workspace, open the location’s Reviews section. Use Unanswered or Answered to find reviews and use the page controls to reach older ones.
- Verified owners can publish and edit a reply without routine staff approval. Replies must follow the community guidelines and remain connected to an eligible verified owner.
- A business cannot directly delete a customer’s review. Use the review-removal request option and explain the specific policy concern; an independent staff member makes the decision.
- Disagreement with a rating alone is not a reason to remove an honest review. Use a courteous public reply and avoid including private customer information.
Manage business reviews →EventsFind, publish or update an event
Find coastal events and publish your business events with Premium.
- On Events, search by name or venue and filter by Today, This weekend, date range or area. Ongoing events show Happening now and the full date range.
- Verified business owners with Premium ($79/month) can publish events for their own eligible locations without routine staff approval or a $45 fee. Complete the venue, dates, times, source and required details in the business workspace. Event photos follow their separate review process.
- Check the venue’s time zone and the full start/end time, especially for multi-day events. An event needs an eligible public venue to appear publicly.
- For weekly repetition, choose 2–26 weekly dates; use 1 for a one-time event. Check the venue time zone, generated dates and daylight-saving changes before publishing. If plans change, update or cancel promptly. Cancellation of an existing event remains available after Premium ends. Contact support for a staff-removed event or a schedule the editor does not support.
Explore events →Billing & promotionsBilling, plans and promoted content
Check the current terms and distinguish paid placements from community rankings.
- Open Pricing and billing terms for the current published offer, cancellation and refund information. If enrollment is disabled, the site is not accepting new plan purchases through checkout.
- Eligible businesses can manage the billing controls available in their business workspace. If a charge needs investigation, include its date and receipt reference in a private support request; never send a full card number, security code or banking password.
- Premium is the only new recurring plan at $79/month. It includes business events for your verified locations without the $45 publication fee, weekly recurring-event tools, reporting and trackable offers. Business and event promotions are optional separate one-time purchases, even with Premium.
- Use Manage or cancel billing in your business workspace to open the provider portal. Existing Pro and annual subscriptions keep their billing arrangements; eligible remaining access is honored as Premium without a new charge. Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund. Payment never changes organic ratings, and clicks must not be described as sales.
Read pricing and billing terms →EventsSubmit a community event for $45
Staff approve the request before you pay; Premium business events use a different path.
- If you manage the event's venue with Premium, open your business workspace and publish there without the $45 publication fee. Otherwise, sign in and choose Submit an event on Events.
- Choose the correct public venue, provide accurate event details and dates, and submit for staff review. This does not charge you or claim the venue. Track the request in My account → Event submissions.
- If approved, review the $45 one-time order and complete secure checkout before its deadline. A rejected request is not charged. A browser return from Stripe is not payment confirmation; wait for the account status to update.
- Your event publishes after confirmed payment and final eligibility checks. If a received payment is held because details changed or the venue is unavailable, contact support with the order reference; do not pay again. Promotion is optional and sold separately for eligible published events.
View event submissions →EventsChoose weekly email or browser event notifications
Opt in, select areas and control notifications on each device. SMS is not available yet.
- Open My account → Weekly event updates. Opt in to email, browser notifications or both. Email requires a verified account address. Saving a preference does not begin delivery while the site shows that delivery is still being set up.
- For phone or desktop notifications, choose Enable notifications on this device and allow the browser prompt. Register each device separately. On iPhone or iPad, add the site to your Home Screen from Safari and open it there if the browser asks you to do so.
- You can turn off either channel, remove a registered device or use the unsubscribe link in a weekly email without signing in. These choices do not stop separate account, claim or billing service messages. Push notifications can appear on a lock screen while signed out, so remove shared devices.
- The Events page invitation hides when you enable updates or decline it. A declined invitation may return after 14 days or when browser site data is cleared. Signed-in subscribers are not asked to subscribe again. Browser support, permissions and provider availability affect delivery; confirm plans with the event organizer.
Set weekly event preferences →Billing & promotionsPromote a business or event
Choose dates, see the full package price, get approval and then pay.
- Verified businesses can request business or event promotions from their workspace. Members can request event promotion for their own eligible published events through Event submissions. Choose the target and an available slideshow, matching-list or search-suggestion placement.
- Business promotion costs $120 for 3 days; event promotion costs $80. Days 4–6 add extra days at 15% off the three-day daily rate. A week costs $240 for a business or $160 for an event after the automatic 20% discount on the $300/$200 weekly package. Above a week, all days receive 25% off the weekly-rate equivalent. Discounts do not stack; check the displayed total before submitting.
- A request does not charge you. Staff review content, dates and capacity before checkout opens. Pay before the displayed deadline. A new checkout needs at least 35 minutes remaining. If the deadline expires, ask for new dates instead of paying against an old request.
- Approved paid content is labeled Promoted. Search suggestions show up to five on desktop and three on mobile. Placements may share space and do not guarantee impressions, clicks, rankings or sales. If payment or delivery needs help, include the order reference in a support request.
Review promotion prices and terms →Business listingsRead reporting, answer inquiries and verify offer codes
Keep clicks, messages and business-confirmed redemptions separate from sales.
- With Premium, open Customer-action reporting from your business details. Website clicks, directions clicks, submitted inquiries and verified business-confirmed offer redemptions are separate measures. Repeated clicks from the same network to one place count at most once per action within 30 minutes, and rapid requests are limited. Shared Wi-Fi can combine visits and some automated traffic can remain. These are recorded actions, not unique visitors, bookings, revenue or completed purchases. Promotion reports show visible impressions and listing-link clicks separately: an impression requires at least half of the placement to be visible for one second. QR-link opens count visible visits arriving from a printed review link; they do not prove a physical scan or identify a particular campaign. These actions also use a 30-minute network/target/action duplicate limit. Reports begin collecting when the feature is deployed; earlier activity is not reconstructed.
- Open Customer messages & offer codes to respond to an inquiry. It is a private conversation with the person who sent it and your currently verified business managers, not a public review or reservation. Existing messages remain accessible with basic management after Premium expires.
- Submit an offer with complete dates, eligibility, exclusions and redemption terms. Offers appear only after staff approval and while the business and its Premium access remain eligible. Customers can request an offer code; issuing a code does not count as a redemption.
- When the customer presents the code and meets the terms, a verified business manager confirms redemption in the workspace. Confirm only actual use, and do not mark your own claim as a customer redemption. The report records the business confirmation; it is not an independently verified sale or proof of purchase value.
Open business tools →Business listingsCorrect listing details and submitted changes
Save the right details and edit a pending request without starting over.
- In your business workspace, select the business and location, then use focused sections for Details, Hours, Photos, Events and Reviews.
- Business-wide contact information is shared across locations. A location’s address, local source link, hours and categories belong to that specific listing.
- Listing, hours and category changes may be submitted for staff review. Use Edit submitted changes beside a pending notice to correct the proposal; the original pending submission stays intact until the replacement saves successfully.
- If someone changed the record while you were editing, refresh and review the newer information before submitting. Do not repeatedly submit an older form.
Open owner tools →Something elseReport a problem or contact support
Send the right context and follow the response in a private support thread.
- Use Report a problem on the relevant review, photo or listing for spam, harassment, copyright, safety or incorrect information. Reporting does not automatically remove the content.
- For account, claim, upload, event or billing help, use Contact support. Starting from a listing includes its name automatically; check it before sending.
- Describe what you tried, the result you expected, the error text and when it happened. Avoid passwords, reset links, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information.
- Open My support requests to read replies and respond. Dashboard notifications link directly to the request. When operational email delivery is available, a reply also queues a short email to the verified recipient; message contents remain in the signed-in conversation. Emails can be delayed, so the conversation is the authoritative record. No response time is guaranteed; for an immediate safety emergency contact local emergency services.
